08/15/2013: The Tea Party Might Beg to Differ

While this snippet comes from a CNBC.com report on the implementation of Obamacare, it is tempting to view it in connection with the IRS targeting of tea party and other groups, a scandal in which a government agency was decidedly asking for personal information in some cases that had precious little to do with the agency’s proper function. Of course, it isn’t correct to label what the IRS did as “fraud” (while the health care con artists are certainly engaging in fraudulent behavior) but it is amusing (if not interesting) to  note the irony in the news.

… no one from the government is calling and asking for personal information or money.
